TWF2024-19 Sunday Walk - The Dragon's Tail - Family Walk

£5.00
TWF Walks and Events will be on-sale in early 2025

A 2 Boot Walk.

A family friendly short circular walk in the Black Mountains above Talgarth town, (suggested 7+ aged).

We will be exploring the lower part of the famous ‘Dragon’s back’ ridge which has fantastic views of the mountains and the valleys on both sides. We also come back over the ‘tail of the Dragon’ which has the remains of a Norman castle which was built on top of an iron age hill fort.

There are a couple of stiles and there are hills, but no mountains! We will be taking our time with assistance given over stiles, so achievable for most people with an average fitness level.

Lots to see and discover on this walk, so bring your supper, your binoculars, & your sense of adventure!

There is a great pub that you might want to try after the walk if you would like too.
