TWF2025-221 Exploring the Afon Llynfi and Bronllys (Saturday)

£8.00

Walk #7 grading: 2 Boot

Join me on this varied, 5-mile circular walk that explores a stretch of the local Afon Llynfi from Pont Nicol to Bronllys and three historic sites in Bronllys village - the church, the moated site and the castle. This leisurely walk includes a mid-walk stop of about half an hour at the Honey Café and brief stops along the route to observe and share knowledge of the river and the village. I explored the Llynfi from source to confluence during the Covid lockdown and my book about this - “Notes on a River - Afon Llynfi” - is being launched during the 2025 Festival.

Sponsored by: Friends of the River Wye

Maximum walking group size is 16 (+ leader)

For safety reasons, the new booking process includes a pop-up window that requests the name, phone number and emergency contact details for each walker on each walk. Please ensure that pop-ups are allowed for the TWF website on your browser. See more details in the Website News.
