TWF2025-331 Cwmdu Circular (Sunday)
Walk #12 grading: 3 Boot
New for TWF2025!
This circular hike starts at the Cwmdu Village Hall car park. We cross some farm fields and a short section of quiet road before we pick up a bridle path which takes us to open access land by Cefyn Moel. Our route then picks up the Beacons way passing by ancient Bronze Age Burial Cairns before climbing up onto Mynydd Llangorse. After the obligatory picture at the Triangulation Pillar we climb a little higher to the true summit of Mynydd Llangorse. We will then skirt back around towards Pen Tir passing another ancient Bronze Age burial cairn before descending back to the start.
Sponsored by The BMC
Maximum walking group size is 16 (+ leaders)
For safety reasons, the new booking process includes a pop-up window that requests the name, phone number and emergency contact details for each walker on each walk. Please ensure that pop-ups are allowed for the TWF website on your browser. See more details in the Website News.
