TWF2025-332 Geology Walk "Let’s Go Round Again" (Sunday)
Walk #13 grading: 3 Boot
New for TWF2025!
A clockwise circuit of Llangorse Lake taking in Mynydd Llangorse and Allt yr Esgair in the course of which we’ll aim to turn back the hands of time to learn more about this area during the Ice Age. As we walk, we’ll imagine this landscape at different times in the distant past. Mainly on moorland and farmland tracks – some sections may be wet or muddy underfoot.
To start, there will be a short minibus transfer to Cockit Hill, where the walk will begin. The walk finishes back at Llangorse Common. The walk price includes the minibus transfer.
Sponsored by: Bannau Brycheiniog National Park Authority
Maximum walking group size is 14 (+ leaders)
For safety reasons, the new booking process includes a pop-up window that requests the name, phone number and emergency contact details for each walker on each walk. Please ensure that pop-ups are allowed for the TWF website on your browser. See more details in the Website News.
